Contact FAQ

1. "What is Angelique?" "Who is Clavis?" "Why is Olivie wearing a dress?" "Where can I buy Ange merchandise?" -- If these are questions you want to ask, please check out the links. Everything you want to know is bound to be found at the sites listed there.

2. "Where do I send fan fiction or fan art?" -- For this question, please read the submission rules. If, after reading through that, you still have a question about this, go ahead and email me.

3. "Will you copy your Ange music or OVAs for me?" -- You can find music and OVAs available online by browsing through the sites on the links page. Chances are, you'll find far more at some of these sites than I have (or can afford).

4. "What is shounen-ai (yaoi, etc)?" -- If you don't know what it means, don't click on it. -_- Do a web search, you'll find out soon enough.

5. "What pairings do you accept?" Again, check out the submission rules. Yes, I have favorites (and who doesn't?), but that does not mean I restrict people to only pairings I prefer. ^^; This site exists for the purpose of allowing Ange fans to be creative, and limiting that creativity isn't something I like to do.

6. "May I use your screencaps or manga and doujinshi scans on my site?" Yes! If it is an un-captioned screencap (or one with your caption), manga or doujinshi scan, you MAY take these images! But save them to your own computer first. I do not appreciate direct-linking (or hotlinking) to my web space. As long as re-used images are uploaded to your own web space, feel free to use whatever you want.

However! If you want to use someone's fan art or fiction, that is a different issue entirely! A lot of effort and hard work goes into these drawings, paintings, writings, etc. If you want to use ANY fanwork, contact the artist or writer who created it.

I must also point out that there is no stolen work on this site. The screencaps and manga/doujinshi scans were all made by me, from material that I own (with the exception of a few images generously donated by Anime Kitty, or otherwise noted). Any donations are accepted, and I will add "do not use without permission" disclaimers to them if needed.

7. "How can you tell when a fan art is traced (i.e. stolen)?" -- There are at least two ways one can check. Both ways require you to save the images in question (traced and original) and adjust the image sizes so they match up. Once you've done that, you can either print these out and line them up over a light source, or in Photoshop, layer one semi-transparent over the other. It's as simple as that. So once again, don't bother sending me anything that is traced, or it will eventually be found out and pulled.

8. I can't think of anything else to add here yet. So if you've still got a question or comment, and have checked out the abovementioned links, then email me.
